The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aníbal Sá was the one to do the kick off. Thiago Pliego didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aníbal Sá went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. After 84 minutes, Breno Loyola made it 4-4 with a short kick to the right side. Chile's Thiago Pliego tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 92nd minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Dante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
