Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Peru's Julian Murillo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jonas Bladi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jonas Bladi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milagros Fraga in the 8th minute of play. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. Julian Murillo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonas Bladi having to make a save. Jonas Bladi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute Antonín Orlík shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eduardo Gonchan made in the 22nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. In the 23rd minute, Julian Murillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Julian Murillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonas Bladi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Peru's Milagros Fraga got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Julian Murillo came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Murillo couldn't finish the play. 38 minutes into the game, Ulises Gartzen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rolando Noboa. Ulises Gartzen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Jonas Bladi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Murillo went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. After 47 played minutes Grosso United got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo da Costa.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ulises Gartzen to make the kick off. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulises Gartzen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 53rd minute Antonín Orlík shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Julian Murillo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonas Bladi. That made the score 1-4 in the 58 minute of play. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by Grosso United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Luz Tejedor almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Grosso United's Jonas Bladi did a great save. Luz Tejedor might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonas Bladi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luz Tejedor ran back to his position shaking his head. 64 minutes into the match, Grosso United's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Jonas Bladi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonas Bladi came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Luz Tejedor. But to his dismay, Luz Tejedor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. After some careless play in the Peru defense, Ulises Gartzen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. The Peru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Noboa should have stopped the shot. In the 74th minute Åke Abelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Peru booed when Grosso United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cayetano Xacintu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Jonas Bladi made a huge save. With a little luck, Grosso United's Jonas Bladi got control of the ball when Milagros Fraga tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 84th minute, Peru's Milagros Fraga ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonas Bladi. Jonas Bladi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-6. 91 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Antonín Orlík came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Noboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Åke Abelsson went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-6 was the resulting score. Milagros Fraga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Bladi having to interfere. The Peru players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
