The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mariano Lacasa took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valer Stroici in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute, Francisco Carballar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Donato Ali. The goal made the score 1-0. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Schuster's Saul Piarres. But to his dismay, Saul Piarres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 10 minutes into the match, Schuster's goalkeeper Donato Ali had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. Mauro Bezerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saul Piarres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Schuster's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Casaus came free, but Donato Ali reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Musko Cuevas in the 23rd minute of play. The Schuster fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Schuster's Mauro Bezerra looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Achille Passerini hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Donato Ali having to make a save. Daniele Sacchi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Donato Ali in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Schuster's goalkeeper Donato Ali, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 43 minutes of play, Chile's Mariano Lacasa made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Donato Ali was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Chile booed when Schuster was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Musko Cuevas didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Thiago Pliego made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. The supporters of Chile booed when Schuster was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richy Hensmans didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. Donato Ali took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Musko Cuevas might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thiago Pliego. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Musko Cuevas ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Chile's Orlando Casaus got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 93 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Bezerra came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute, Chile's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after 麦坤竞 fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the final whistle sounded Schuster left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Chile.
