Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Axel Tasis got the match started through his kick off. Limhamns Stjärnor's Gustaf Sjödin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Puig in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 7th minute by Nils-Emil Dahlbom got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Juan Rubio hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute, Nils-Emil Dahlbom ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 25th minute, Nils-Emil Dahlbom reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benito Sanz. The goal made the score 2-0. Limhamns Stjärnor's Gustaf Sjödin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Limhamns Stjärnor's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Axel Tasis was slow to take the kick. During this time Costa Rica's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, Limhamns Stjärnor's Arvin Nordkvist got a free kick in the 30th minute. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ove Dahlbom in the 33rd minute of play. In the 36th minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaf Sjödin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Nils-Emil Dahlbom sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Limhamns Stjärnor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arvin Nordkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Limhamns Stjärnor's Sven-Olof Holmberg was substituted for Nils-Emil Dahlbom. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Sven-Olof Holmberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Limhamns Stjärnor's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven-Olof Holmberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 58 played minutes Limhamns Stjärnor got a freekick which was hit by Åke Pettersson. 63 minutes into the match, Lautaro Puig had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gustaf Sjödin. Limhamns Stjärnor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lautaro Puig was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 67 minutes into the match, Sven-Olof Holmberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Limhamns Stjärnor's Ove Dahlbom got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 78 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Olof Holmberg came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Limhamns Stjärnor fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Limhamns Stjärnor's Sven-Olof Holmberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 83 minutes into the game, Limhamns Stjärnor's Sven-Olof Holmberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ove Dahlbom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Limhamns Stjärnor's Sven-Olof Holmberg got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the last second Gustaf Sjödin throw himself and got hold of the ball when Axel Tasis in the 95thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Costa Rica's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Axel Tasis in the 96th minute. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Limhamns Stjärnor had played much better football throughout.
