Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Waut Du Molin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barnaba Pilsudski, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel De Roest in the 16th minute of play. Ion Giurgiu charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ion Giurgiu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Colombia booed when FC Gullegem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ion Giurgiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnaba Pilsudski in the 46th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abram Sarmiento made a kick off. Axell Verduin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 54th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the game, FC Gullegem's Emanuel De Roest nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 59th match minute, FC Gullegem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matty Bormans to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Emanuel De Roest sent off a good shot on target. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. If Kevin Mastache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 95 minutes in the game Matty Bormans did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ion Giurgiu. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ion Giurgiu in the 96th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Gullegem had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
