After a rather tough play, Limhamns Stjärnor's Ove Dahlbom got a free kick in the 12th minute. Jaime Pardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ove Dahlbom in the 23rd minute of play. Gustaf Sjödin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Pardo in the 27th minute of the match. Jaime Pardo was slow to take the kick. During this time Paraguay's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Hector Covarrubias got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gustaf Sjödin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Ove Dahlbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 36 minutes into the match, Limhamns Stjärnor's Nils-Emil Dahlbom sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacobo Nores narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 37th minute Limhamns Stjärnor were awarded a corner. Ove Dahlbom went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Ove Dahlbom almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Paraguay's Jacobo Nores did a great save. After a rather tough play, Limhamns Stjärnor's Bernt Sundling got a free kick in the 38th minute. Gustaf Sjödin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Pardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 46th match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Sanz to maneuver through the defense. Jose Sanz hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ove Dahlbom made a kick off. A collision led to Limhamns Stjärnor getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Sven-Olof Holmberg hit a great ball. Hector Covarrubias kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven-Olof Holmberg in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Nores saved Paraguay from getting behind. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Jose Sanz hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Sven-Olof Holmberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Nores was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. When Primitivo Escribano fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paraguay's protests and gave Primitivo Escribano a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Primitivo Escribano got a free kick in the 82nd minute. The tension between the Paraguay and the Limhamns Stjärnor players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ivan Prats hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute, Ove Dahlbom ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacobo Nores was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Ove Dahlbom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Limhamns Stjärnor support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
