In the 3rd minute Hassan Job shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 3 minutes of play, Seguí FC's Hassan Job made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 10th minute of play forced Seguí FC's goalkeeper Giotis Tripotseris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giotis Tripotseris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 14th minute of play forced Seguí FC's goalkeeper Giotis Tripotseris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Omar Bieito in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. Abram Sarmiento's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Giotis Tripotseris read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Giotis Tripotseris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 23rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bonifacio Bemabe got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Giotis Tripotseris. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. Giotis Tripotseris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 28th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sebastiaan Arias during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sebastiaan Arias hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abram Sarmiento to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Victorino Oliverio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 53 minutes, Axel Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colombia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Axel Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Axel Montenegro succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 56th playminute. Axel Montenegro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Giotis Tripotseris firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 64th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Tafalla to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Colombia's Giotis Tripotseris threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Abram Sarmiento, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thanks to some nice moves Abram Secada could shoot a difficult shot in the 81st minute, which Giotis Tripotseris however easily saved by the left post. Seguí FC's Giotis Tripotseris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 94th minute of play. 94 minutes into the game, Ignacio Mastache recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Giotis Tripotseris. Ignacio Mastache showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
