Julian Murillo struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Giotis Tripotseris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giotis Tripotseris prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victorino Oliverio during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 46 played minutes Seguí FC got a freekick which was hit by Victorino Oliverio. Milagros Fraga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giotis Tripotseris having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Murillo to make the kick off. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Giotis Tripotseris read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Giotis Tripotseris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julian Murillo made a great header on Peru's corner, it was just that Seguí FC's Giotis Tripotseris managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 79th minute, Hassan Job made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Giotis Tripotseris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 82nd minute of play. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by Seguí FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eliseo Mina was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. Milagros Fraga was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 89th minute Hassan Job shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
