Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) In the 6th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Molina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Ramirez scored 1-0 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Miguel Ramirez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but Miguel Ramirez slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 12th minute. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Ramirez in the 17th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Miguel Ramirez made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Ramirez, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Ramirez came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 27 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sixto Gomez who took care of the corner kick. In the 35th minute, Miguel Ramirez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Miguel Ramirez might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Miguel Ramirez ran back to his position shaking his head. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute of the match LACELESTEYBLANCA got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sixto Gomez ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 45th minute, Melquiades Belo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Miguel Ramirez made the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loco Faso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ecuador fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! Julio Vera had in the 59thth minute some difficulties stopping Sixto Gomez's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 62nd minute of play forced LACELESTEYBLANCA's goalkeeper Eugenio Molina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugenio Molina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 74th play minutes Miguel Ramirez shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Julio Vera and just under the crossbar into goal. Miguel Ramirez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Miguel Ramirez managed to get in a good position for a shot. LACELESTEYBLANCA's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Ramirez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eugenio Molina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. LACELESTEYBLANCA's Eugenio Molina proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save LACELESTEYBLANCA from getting a goal against them. In the 96th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. LACELESTEYBLANCA were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
