Despite this Pepe Sarro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto Tafalla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pepe Sarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Pepe Sarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. KF Ballistet's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Barrionuevo in the 20th minute of play. KF Ballistet's Danilo Barrionuevo got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felix Luque received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Pepe Sarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the KF Ballistet defense, Joel Gaona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pepe Sarro. The KF Ballistet fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pepe Sarro should have stopped the shot. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 39th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Pepe Sarro made a huge save. After 43 minutes of play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pepe Sarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. Pepe Sarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. KF Ballistet's Pepe Sarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 60th minute of play. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 61st minute. Pepe Sarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 69th minute of play. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Mexico's Macos Graciani was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pepe Sarro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 77 minutes into the match, Mexico's Luca Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pepe Sarro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 78th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. Pepe Sarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amado Godoy in the 84th minute of play. After taking down the ball on KF Ballistet's corner Carlton Boothroyd fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dante Lacasa quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amado Godoy in the 90th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 95 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Joel Gaona. There was no doubt that Mexico were the better team. Mexico's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
