Mariano Lacasa was slow to take the kick. During this time Chile's players had a chance to rest. Orlando Casaus came free with the goalkeeper in the 14th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bogdan Lobonț could save by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orlando Casaus got free with Bogdan Lobonț in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marius Niculae in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bogdan Lobonț narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isac Mihălțan in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Bogdan Lobonț in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Chile booed when A4p Dejani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florín Bratu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Guillermo Fontirroig came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Chile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guillermo Fontirroig couldn't finish the play. 28 minutes into the match, A4p Dejani's goalkeeper Bogdan Lobonț had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. After a defensive mix-up in A4p Dejani's zone, Mariano Lacasa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bogdan Lobonț came out of the goal and Mariano Lacasa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 38th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Lobonț saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Bogdan Lobonț made a huge save. In the 44th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Casaus to maneuver through the defense. Mariano Lacasa scored 1-0 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bogdan Lobonț, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariano Lacasa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bogdan Lobonț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Casaus in the 53rd minute of play. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Vefik Hisar in the 54th minute of the match. Guillermo Fontirroig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 61st minute of play forced A4p Dejani's goalkeeper Bogdan Lobonț to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michael Klein got a throw-in 64 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Antônio Linhares. After 67 played minutes, Chile's Mariano Lacasa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bogdan Lobonț came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chile reached it. Chile's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mariano Lacasa in the 69th minute. A nice corner shot did that Mariano Lacasa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bogdan Lobonț quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A4p Dejani's Bogdan Lobonț played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 71st minute of play. Kosan Bonde kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After having played for 79 minutes, Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Lacasa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bogdan Lobonț narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bogdan Lobonț read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind A4p Dejani's goalkeeper Bogdan Lobonț, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bogdan Lobonț took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of A4p Dejani's Bogdan Lobonț. Bogdan Lobonț was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee ended the match the Chile players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
