Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Garth Brough started the match with the kick off. Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Garth Brough could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Joaquin Gayoso made a huge save. In the 10th minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keylor Navas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso got control of the ball when Ellis Hoskin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garth Brough in the 13th minute of play. Garth Brough could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Joaquin Gayoso made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Garth Brough kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joaquin Gayoso. That made the score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. The supporters of Australian Youth Academy booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Sainz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Garth Brough. Keylor Navas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Gisbert, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The audience was convinced that Francisco Seco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Keylor Navas was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. In the 34th minute, Garth Brough made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Jorge Sainz got a free kick in the 60th minute. Australian Youth Academy's Garth Brough got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garth Brough in the 69th minute of play. After 70 minutes Uruguay's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rufus Roach who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Australian Youth Academy's corner Rufus Roach fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Joaquin Gayoso quite easily take care of the ball. In the 75thth minute of the game Garth Brough who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 76th minute, Garth Brough left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Australian Youth Academy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. With his leg Keylor Navas managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Uruguay's Francisco Seco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Australian Youth Academy's Garth Brough in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Uruguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Gayoso should have stopped the shot. Australian Youth Academy's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
