Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stephan Isager, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Kristen Krasmer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 38th minute of the match. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Ataol Toprak sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Hvam FC defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kristen Krasmer. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Kristen Krasmer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pompílio Pegacho in the 85th minute of play. After having played for 88 minutes, Domeka Caldueño managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hvam FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domeka Caldueño was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pompílio Pegacho hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristen Krasmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Hvam FC throughout the match.
