Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Axel Tasis made the kick off which started today's match. Costa Rica were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after Cunumbuqui FBC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Axel Tasis took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Cunumbuqui FBC's goalie and right to Juan Rubio. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Cunumbuqui FBC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. A collision led to Cunumbuqui FBC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Adrian Pelayo hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Salvatore Masa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Salvatore Masa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Salvatore Masa came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Cunumbuqui FBC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salvatore Masa couldn't finish the play. Efrain Moruga hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, 俞崇永 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and 俞崇永 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Cunumbuqui FBC's 俞崇永. But to his dismay, 俞崇永 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 俞崇永 in the 29th minute of play. 俞崇永 struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cunumbuqui FBC. In the 45th minute Errolan Hernani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when 俞崇永 made the kick off in the second half. If 俞崇永 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 秦西岚 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Puig, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Eliseo Noboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 秦西岚 having to interfere. In the 61st minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 秦西岚 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yan Toledo during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cunumbuqui FBC's Yan Toledo got a free kick in the 69th minute. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Juan Rubio hit a great ball. In the 85th minute there was a penalty for Cunumbuqui FBC. Lalo Blanquel stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Benito Sanz. 0-2. Salvatore Masa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. After some careless play in the Cunumbuqui FBC defense, Eliseo Noboa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 秦西岚. The Cunumbuqui FBC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 秦西岚 should have stopped the shot. In the 98th minute Lautaro Puig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 秦西岚 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
