Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rolando Alley kicked off to start the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. 10 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Sotil came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute, Emiliano Sotil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ecuador's attack was well implemented in the 11th minute, but when Daniel Zorita was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Atlético de Caracas were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gabirel Caceo took the corner. The corner led to Atlético de Caracas's Tom Wassenius getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 23rd minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Zarando Calva was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After having played for 24 minutes, Rolando Alley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético de Caracas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rolando Alley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zarando Calva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 27th minute of the match. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolando Alley in the 30th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Alley came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Nazmija Stojković kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Atlético de Caracas made a substitution. Aires Laguno replaced Nazmija Stojković. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Sixto Lluc hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gabirel Caceo was slow to take the kick. During this time Atlético de Caracas's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Atlético de Caracas's corner Tom Wassenius fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. Tom Wassenius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rolando Alley in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. In the 60th minute, Antonio Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Rolando Alley scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 1-3. 67 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Alley came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aires Laguno in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Tom Wassenius put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sixto Lluc in the 74th minute. Zarando Calva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 77th minute of play. Cristian Sancho scored 2-4 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zarando Calva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Atlético de Caracas's Nuno Santarém was substituted for Rolando Alley. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Santarém in the 86th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nuno Santarém. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Santarém, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atlético de Caracas were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gabirel Caceo took the corner. The Atlético de Caracas players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
