Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Florian Plouffe got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to Olympique Fribourg getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Marcellus Walpert hit a great ball. Tristan Arioli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 15th minute, Remo Pürro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Olympique Fribourg's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tristan Arioli came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Remo Pürro hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Tristan Arioli came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Daniel Zorita scored 0-4 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tristan Arioli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Daniel Zorita charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Zorita the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Olympique Fribourg booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Raik Topuz made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Agustín Saelices recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with Tristan Arioli in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tristan Arioli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tristan Arioli in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Tristan Arioli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Tristan Arioli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 70th minute. Juan Sebastián Puig was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by Olympique Fribourg's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Raik Topuz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Raik Topuz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 78th minute of the match Olympique Fribourg got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Schroeder ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Remo Pürro heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. When Remo Pürro fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olympique Fribourg's protests and gave Remo Pürro a yellow card for diving instead. Juan Sebastián Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tristan Arioli having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tristan Arioli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with Tristan Arioli in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 88th minute. Omar Bünder kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. A collision led to Olympique Fribourg getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Omar Bünder hit a great ball. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Olympique Fribourg throughout the match.
