Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jaime Pardo kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, Rolando Alley ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacobo Nores was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Atlético de Caracas's Tom Wassenius got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 12 minutes, Rolando Alley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético de Caracas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rolando Alley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tom Wassenius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Alley in the 16th minute of play. After 17 minutes Paraguay's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gabirel Caceo who took care of the corner kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Nazmija Stojković got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-2. 17 minutes into the match. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nazmija Stojković in the 23rd minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Nazmija Stojković in the 25th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Paraguay's Primitivo Escribano. 27 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Tom Wassenius came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Alley in the 31st minute of play. Atlético de Caracas's Sixto Lluc got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rolando Alley in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Nores saved Paraguay from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rolando Alley in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Nores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 45th minute Atlético de Caracas were awarded a corner. Gabirel Caceo went to the cornerflag to take it.

Atlético de Caracas made a substitution. Aires Laguno replaced Nazmija Stojković. The wind increased when Rolando Alley made the kick off in the second half. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolando Alley in the 52nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Paraguay's Jacobo Nores got control of the ball when Tom Wassenius tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Alley in the 55th minute of play. Jacobo Nores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rolando Alley's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Jacobo Nores made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Rolando Alley sent off a good shot on target. 62 minutes into the game, Hector Covarrubias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paraguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético de Caracas the free kick. After 62 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Hector Covarrubias. If Rolando Alley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rolando Alley might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacobo Nores. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rolando Alley ran back to his position shaking his head. With splendid footwork Rolando Alley arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-4 by the left pole in the game's 65th minute. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tom Wassenius, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. If Rolando Alley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Alan Campos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacobo Nores made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rolando Alley in the 72nd minute. After 74 minutes, Rolando Alley made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 77th match minute, Atlético de Caracas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Piotr Moizuk to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute, Primitivo Escribano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rolando Alley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Atlético de Caracas's Nuno Santarém was substituted for Rolando Alley. 89 minutes into the match, Nuno Santarém had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nuno Santarém was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. In the 93rd minute, Nuno Santarém made a precise shot to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. In the 96th match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Covarrubias to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute, Alan Campos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Gabirel Caceo came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Atlético de Caracas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabirel Caceo couldn't finish the play. Atlético de Caracas's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
