Vitinho Hoffmann blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lautaro Navarro having to make a save. In the 30th match minute, Loud Academy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Lara to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dagoberto Guimarães was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Jefferson Saldanha kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Moises Tafalla hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitinho Hoffmann in the 75th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga tried to score from far away in the 95th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Honduras played a much better game than Loud Academy FC and deserved their victory. The Loud Academy FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
