The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Devin Tisserand made in the 4th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Paraguay's Xavier Zoido. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias got a free kick in the 5th minute. Guadalupe Schroeder charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guadalupe Schroeder the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Kill-Animals getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Guadalupe Schroeder hit a great ball. After 9 minutes, Louis Leach mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kill-Animals and the Paraguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Kill-Animals was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Louis Leach didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iker Tafalla kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Kill-Animals's Louis Leach got his second yellow card of the match in the 15th minute. The referee ordered Louis Leach off the ground. A collision led to Kill-Animals getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Louis Leach hit a great ball. Paraguay's attentive Primitivo Escribano managed to snatch the ball when Guadalupe Schroeder made a throw-in in the 19th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Marty Salter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Marty Salter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 24 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Marty Salter came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Phil Darling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pardo in the 25th minute of play. In the 36th match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Campos to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Hector Covarrubias hit a great ball. 47 minutes in the game, Jaime Pardo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Phil Darling having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Antone Murphy hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Kill-Animals's Phil Darling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Covarrubias in the 54th minute of play. After 56 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Escribano. Paraguay's attentive Hector Covarrubias managed to snatch the ball when Guadalupe Schroeder made a throw-in in the 58th minute of the game. After 61 played minutes Kill-Animals got a freekick which was hit by Wilfredo Huppé. In the 71st match minute, Kill-Animals was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guadalupe Schroeder to maneuver through the defense. Marty Salter's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jacobo Nores firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Marty Salter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 78 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Alan Campos. Jaime Pardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Phil Darling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Marty Salter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kill-Animals's supporters rose to their feet, but Marty Salter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Nores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marty Salter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Marty Salter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Devin Tisserand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Phil Darling stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jaime Pardo's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Paraguay were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
