With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angel Vito saved Crottos Crotters F.C. from getting behind. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Crottos Crotters F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Angel Vito came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 27 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Peng Xiong came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peng Xiong in the 27th minute of play. When Adilson Breckenfeld came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Crottos Crotters F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adilson Breckenfeld couldn't finish the play. 30 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adilson Breckenfeld. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adilson Breckenfeld in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 36th minute of play forced Crottos Crotters F.C.'s goalkeeper Angel Vito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Angel Vito was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 38th minute. Angel Vito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 39th minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Crottos Crotters F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Angel Vito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Angel Vito. When Baldomero Mateo came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Crottos Crotters F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomero Mateo couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Andino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angel Vito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adilson Breckenfeld might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adilson Breckenfeld ran back to his position shaking his head. 57 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Adilson Breckenfeld came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Cristian Sancho could shoot a difficult shot in the 59th minute, which Angel Vito however easily saved by the left post. In the 63rd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Saelices to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Crottos Crotters F.C. made a substitution. Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Angel Vito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 75th minute of play. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Angel Vito despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Peng Xiong came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Angel Vito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. 89 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Peng Xiong came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Peng Xiong notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
