Cassius Byrne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mämmädbağır Svensson having to interfere. Arkın Öğüç blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marco Day having to make a save. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arkın Öğüç in the 13th minute of play. Cassius Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Mämmädbağır Svensson made a huge save. Mämmädbağır Svensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Michael Karlsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Arkın Öğüç came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute, Arkın Öğüç ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marco Day was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 46 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Arkın Öğüç came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After recieving a nice pass, Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK's Gunnar Pettersson tried to score from far away in the 48th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After the first half Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Cassius Byrne made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to USA getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Monty Rogers hit a great ball. Mämmädbağır Svensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mämmädbağır Svensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 68th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mämmädbağır Svensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edward Mcdonald hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. The supporters of Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edward Mcdonald didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK's Mämmädbağır Svensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 77th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joakim Forss got free with Marco Day in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joakim Forss in the 86th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK's goalkeeper Mämmädbağır Svensson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
