Camilo Freixa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Rolando Alley sped through Bolivia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Camilo Freixa. In the 22nd minute, Nazmija Stojković made a precise shot to the right of Camilo Freixa. Bolivia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Emiliano Sotil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Freixa having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Rolando Alley put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Camilo Freixa. Rolando Alley took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Camilo Freixa. Camilo Freixa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Camilo Freixa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tom Wassenius, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nazmija Stojković in the 36th minute of play. When Tom Wassenius came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Atlético de Caracas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tom Wassenius couldn't finish the play. Camilo Freixa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tom Wassenius in the 39th minute of play. Camilo Freixa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rolando Alley went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. 43 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Alley came free, but Camilo Freixa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd match minute, Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Chicote to maneuver through the defense. After 45 minutes, Rolando Alley made it 0-9 with a short kick to the right side. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Atlético de Caracas were leading 0-9. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Mario Fernandino made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Aires Laguno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético de Caracas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-10. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tom Wassenius got free with Camilo Freixa in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Camilo Freixa was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Tom Wassenius capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tom Wassenius really showed his touch with that goal: 0-12. After 73rd play minutes Rolando Alley shot 0-13, a short shot which went by Camilo Freixa and just under the crossbar into goal. Camilo Freixa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aires Laguno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Aires Laguno reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Camilo Freixa. The goal made the score 0-14. A hard shot 81 in the game by Rolando Alley from a close distance when the talented Camilo Freixa managed to make a qualified save. Bolivia's players were relieved. The supporters of Atlético de Caracas booed when Bolivia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nuno Santarém's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Camilo Freixa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 85 minutes into the game, Atlético de Caracas's Nuno Santarém nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Camilo Freixa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-15. 88 minutes in the game, Nuno Santarém fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Camilo Freixa having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Nuno Santarém put it in 0-16 from a short distance just to the right of Camilo Freixa. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Nuno Santarém managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético de Caracas's supporters rose to their feet, but Nuno Santarém was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camilo Freixa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Atlético de Caracas booed when Bolivia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso de la Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over Atlético de Caracas could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bolivia throughout the match.
