Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lionel-Andrés Messias in the 29th minute of play. Bernhardt Reshauge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sαηgrε Azuɭ's Bernhardt Reshauge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 40th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. Bernhardt Reshauge didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lautaro Mancebo went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ur Cabral in the 62nd minute of play. Bernhardt Reshauge made an important save on a dangerous shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 67th minute. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lionel-Andrés Messias in the 69th minute of the match. Luca Rouco kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Joel Gaona in the 78th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Sαηgrε Azuɭ's Benicio Tabby. In the 92nd match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Cazalla to maneuver through the defense. Mexico's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
