Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Rune Snäll took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Rune Snäll in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rune Snäll having to interfere. Ecuador's attack was well implemented in the 13th minute, but when Daniel Zorita was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rayo Tharkad's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Rayo Tharkad's Rune Snäll managed to reach the ball for a save. Luis Andino did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Rune Snäll 18 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manolo Lacorte in the 20th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Feliciano Roig almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zumar Figueroa was slow to take the kick. During this time Rayo Tharkad's players had a chance to rest. Apoena Ocaña was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manolo Lacorte, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the game, Juan Bermejo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rayo Tharkad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. In the 26th match minute, Rayo Tharkad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Bermejo to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Antonio Arias hit a great ball. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Rayo Tharkad's Manolo Lacorte. But to his dismay, Manolo Lacorte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Rayo Tharkad's Rune Snäll proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Rayo Tharkad from getting a goal against them. Rune Snäll took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Rayo Tharkad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manolo Lacorte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rune Snäll showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 45th minute of the match. When Manolo Lacorte came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Rayo Tharkad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manolo Lacorte couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manolo Lacorte made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manolo Lacorte got free with Julio Vera in the 50th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Apoena Ocaña sent off a good shot on target. In the 66th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Rune Snäll came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. After 73 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Agustín Saelices managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Agustín Saelices was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rune Snäll breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rune Snäll showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 81st minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Rayo Tharkad's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Felix Montenegro made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Rayo Tharkad's Rune Snäll managed to reach the ball for a save. Rune Snäll came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Felix Montes. But to his dismay, Felix Montes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Felix Montenegro scored 5-1 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rune Snäll, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 91 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Apoena Ocaña came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manolo Lacorte in the 92nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ecuador had played much better football throughout.
