Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco Seco in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enzo Bolognesi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Beniamin Jazwiec during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Uruguay booed when VERDENA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beniamin Jazwiec didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 10 minutes, Amerigo Locatelli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VERDENA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amerigo Locatelli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 12th minute, Bruno Beldad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Raiola, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberto Raiola in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd minute Amerigo Locatelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mohamed Hanin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Raiola in the 27th minute of play. Amerigo Locatelli scored 0-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Gayoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Amerigo Locatelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amerigo Locatelli in the 37th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, VERDENA FC's Amerigo Locatelli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquin Gayoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Enzo Bolognesi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Seco in the 44th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco Seco was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute, Francisco Seco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enzo Bolognesi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amerigo Locatelli got free with Joaquin Gayoso in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Amos Petrucci in the 63 minute of the game. The VERDENA FC fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when VERDENA FC's Amerigo Locatelli looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Uruguay from getting a goal against them. Amerigo Locatelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. Enzo Bolognesi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 83rd minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, Amerigo Locatelli recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joaquin Gayoso. Amerigo Locatelli showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-6. In the 89th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Covarrubias to maneuver through the defense. After 90 played minutes, VERDENA FC's Amos Petrucci shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in VERDENA FC reached it. When the final whistle sounded VERDENA FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Uruguay.
