Tomas Berganza kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Kuno Raudsepp didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Berganza went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 46th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento made a precise shot to the right of Kuno Raudsepp. FC Minerva Tallinn's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. After the first half Panama were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Tomas Berganza hit a great ball. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesar Sampaio in the 68th minute of play. When Isidoro Sarmiento came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidoro Sarmiento couldn't finish the play. Kuno Raudsepp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 77th minute. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beppe Di Campli, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. When Felipe Ros was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 82 minutes had been played. The supporters of FC Minerva Tallinn booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Ros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesar Sampaio in the 86th minute of play. Beppe Di Campli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Marcos Cotilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute Taniel Maasar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beppe Di Campli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Panama players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented FC Minerva Tallinn from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
