Tanek Bielejewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 13th minute of the match. After 14 minutes Grasshoppers Klucze's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. Tanek Bielejewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 16th minute of play. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Grasshoppers Klucze's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Peru's Luz Tejedor to fire away a dangerous shot which Tanek Bielejewski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tanek Bielejewski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Pedro Barrionuevo in the 28 minute of the game. Rolando Noboa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tadeusz Raschke showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 32 minute of play. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Wit Walicki, made in the 35th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Grasshoppers Klucze defense, Julian Murillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tanek Bielejewski. The Grasshoppers Klucze fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tanek Bielejewski should have stopped the shot. 38 minutes in the game Pedro Barrionuevo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Wit Walicki. Rolando Noboa was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Kacper Charamut capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kacper Charamut really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. In the 43rd match minute, Grasshoppers Klucze was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Barrionuevo to maneuver through the defense. In the 45thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grasshoppers Klucze's Tanek Bielejewski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Peru fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when Peru's Julian Murillo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kacper Charamut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Julian Murillo came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Murillo couldn't finish the play. Tanek Bielejewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 57th minute of the match. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Grasshoppers Klucze's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. Peru's Luz Tejedor was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tanek Bielejewski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Tanek Bielejewski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. After 64 minutes Grasshoppers Klucze's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. 66 minutes into the game, Wit Walicki threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Pedro Barrionuevo made a throw-in in the 68th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tadeusz Raschke in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 81 minutes, Tadeusz Raschke made it 3-4 with a short kick to the right side. Peru's Rolando Noboa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Grasshoppers Klucze made a substitution. Damazy Franzik replaced Kacper Charamut. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Grasshoppers Klucze's Karol Kolbert was substituted for Hieronim Skrzypek. If Rafael Gallo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
