Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Augusto Jurdan made the kick off which started today's match. Augusto Jurdan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvio Pacho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elvio Pacho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 25th minute of play forced Cha Fe FC's goalkeeper Elvio Pacho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27thth minute of the game Felix Montenegro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cha Fe FC's Elvio Pacho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Augusto Jurdan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Augusto Jurdan in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Cha Fe FC's Elvio Pacho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 36th minute of play. Elvio Pacho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Elvio Pacho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Elvio Pacho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Cha Fe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogelio Ibon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felix Montenegro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Elvio Pacho when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 62 minutes into the match, Cha Fe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Elvio Pacho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the game, Agustín Saelices cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Elvio Pacho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 72nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Elvio Pacho could save by the left post. In the 73rd minute Augusto Jurdan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 75 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. If Augusto Jurdan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Elvio Pacho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Hegoi Griful sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 83 minutes into the match, Cha Fe FC's goalkeeper Elvio Pacho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Anibal Abar hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Matias Buinton charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matias Buinton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Cha Fe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matias Buinton didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cha Fe FC.
