Marco Day didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Federico Brambilla went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Saad Man took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, USA's goalkeeper Marco Day had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Federico Brambilla. Marco Day was a little too slow when Federico Brambilla got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robbrecht Colebinders to strike the kick off in the second half. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robbrecht Colebinders, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saad Man made an important save on a dangerous shot by Monty Rogers in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 56th minute of play forced Correla q va en Chancleta's goalkeeper Saad Man to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cassius Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Saad Man made a huge save. Correla q va en Chancleta's Harry Pötters got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Correla q va en Chancleta's Tomás Gaizko was substituted for Robbrecht Colebinders. In the 64th minute of the match, Monty Rogers tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Saad Man saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 66 minutes into the game, Cassius Byrne recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Saad Man. Cassius Byrne showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Robin van Persie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tomás Gaizko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. Correla q va en Chancleta's Saad Man played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sam Campbell in the 84th minute of play. Sam Campbell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Saad Man read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. In the 91st minute USA were awarded a corner. Jenson Smith went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Marco Baker heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Gaizko in the 94th minute of play.
