A nice corner shot did that Axel Montenegro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kubat Aydınoğlu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 13th minute of play forced Giresun United F.K ©'s goalkeeper Kubat Aydınoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Vidyo Shaprin came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Giresun United F.K © fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vidyo Shaprin couldn't finish the play. In the 17th minute Pascual Carballar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kubat Aydınoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Georg Bringtoft got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Georg Bringtofts short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Pedro Manzanares to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. Kubat Aydınoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Mastache in the 34th minute of play. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Giresun United F.K ©'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Axel Montenegro took the corner. Uygur Okatan tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Kubat Aydınoğlu. In the 41st minute, Giresun United F.K ©'s Georg Bringtoft dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Naci Tuncel during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Joshua Garrido fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colombia's protests and gave Joshua Garrido a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game.
