With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teofil Marud in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. Sixto Abascal kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Log Horizon's Hugon Marut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute Teofil Marud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. During the 19th minute of the match Sixto Abascal completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Sixto Abascal a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Axel Montenegro charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Axel Montenegro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Axel Montenegro hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. If Ciro Hodei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Log Horizon defense, Kevin Mastache kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugon Marut. The Log Horizon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugon Marut should have stopped the shot. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elvio Aznar, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute Ciro Hodei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Log Horizon's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Hugon Marut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Santino Seco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciro Hodei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abram Sarmiento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Ciro Hodei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57thth minute of the game Ciro Hodei who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Mastache in the 59th minute of play forced Log Horizon's goalkeeper Hugon Marut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Colombia booed when Log Horizon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mervin Corley didn't get a good kick on the ball.
