Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Manolo Lacorte got the match started through his kick off. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hondo Arratia, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Mancebo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rune Snäll breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Manolo Lacorte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Apoena Ocaña put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Dante Lacasa. Rayo Tharkad's Rune Snäll played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 22nd minute of play. With a little luck, Rayo Tharkad's Rune Snäll got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Apoena Ocaña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lautaro Mancebo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rune Snäll firmly grabbed it by the left post. It was a well-played corner which Alberto Tafalla managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Rayo Tharkad's Rune Snäll played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 33rd minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manolo Lacorte, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Rune Snäll made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 39th minute of play. Feliciano Roig struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rayo Tharkad. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manolo Lacorte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Mexico players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rayo Tharkad were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 50th minute of play forced Rayo Tharkad's goalkeeper Rune Snäll to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute, Joel Gaona made a precise shot to the right of Rune Snäll. Rayo Tharkad's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Rayo Tharkad made a substitution. Oihan Aguado replaced Feliciano Roig. Rayo Tharkad made a substitution. Macerio Caballero replaced Antimo Negro. After a defensive mix-up in Rayo Tharkad's zone, Lautaro Mancebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rune Snäll came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 64th minute, Oihan Aguado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rune Snäll showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Luca Rouco heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 70th minute of play forced Rayo Tharkad's goalkeeper Rune Snäll to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rune Snäll didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lautaro Mancebo went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Rune Snäll showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. If Hondo Arratia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 77 minutes of play, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rune Snäll was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rune Snäll came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Alberto Tafalla. But to his dismay, Alberto Tafalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Joel Gaona took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rune Snäll. Rune Snäll dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. In the 88th minute, Joel Gaona made a precise shot to the right of Rune Snäll. Rayo Tharkad's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. It was a well-played corner which Apoena Ocaña managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Mexico's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
