In the 11th minute, Emil Patora hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Krzysztof Gaszynski came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Kiepscy's Krzysztof Gaszynski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Barrett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucjan Cichowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute, Emil Patora made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Krzysztof Gaszynski made a kick off. In the 55thth minute of the game Stanley Wallace who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kiepscy's Eugeniusz Klejnowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 59 played minutes Kiepscy got a freekick which was hit by Lukasz Hendzel. Eugeniusz Klejnowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanley Wallace, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juliusz Klewinski, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Troy Kennedy kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juliusz Klewinski in the 70th minute of play. Curacao's Bruno Barrett proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Curacao from getting a goal against them. The Kiepscy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eugeniusz Klejnowski should have stopped the shot. Stanley Wallace fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugeniusz Klejnowski having to interfere. Lucjan Cichowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 100th minute of the match, but Bruno Barrett made a huge save. With a little luck, Curacao's Bruno Barrett got control of the ball when Lucjan Cichowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kiepscy's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
