Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Lacasa in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andy Garcia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 7 minutes into the game, Soda f c's Zézinho Moraes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thiago Pliego made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Andy Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 18th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Zézinho Moraes took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Thiago Pliego to make any attempt to save it. Orlando Casaus took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andy Garcia. Andy Garcia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Chile's Mariano Lacasa got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Chile booed when Soda f c was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marian Cazador didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute, Mariano Lacasa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mariano Lacasa to strike the kick off in the second half. Soda f c's Andy Garcia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Soda f c from getting a goal against them. Andy Garcia made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. Mariano Lacasa in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Andy Garcia, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Andy Garcia in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Soda f c's Andy Garcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 82nd minute of play. Ümit Daman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. With a little luck, Soda f c's Andy Garcia got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Dario Mazuste fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Soda f c's protests and gave Dario Mazuste a yellow card for diving instead.
