Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Pastor Ado started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Edmond Verdun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 4th minute of play. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Edmond Verdun made a huge save. 16 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edmond Verdun. Cristian Sancho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. A collision led to Errecaborda AFC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Miguel Savion hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Ado came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Prospero Jerardo in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. In the 24th minute, Miguel Savion hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the match, Errecaborda AFC's goalkeeper Edmond Verdun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Daniel Zorita took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Edmond Verdun to make any attempt to save it. Cristian Sancho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Edmond Verdun when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Errecaborda AFC's Pastor Ado. But to his dismay, Pastor Ado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. With a little luck, Errecaborda AFC's Edmond Verdun got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edmond Verdun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 43rd minute. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmond Verdun having to interfere. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmond Verdun having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmond Verdun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edmond Verdun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 61st minute of play. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Pastor Ado scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 2-2. 70 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Rameriz came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pastor Ados short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 72 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. After a rather tough play, Errecaborda AFC's Valko De Hond got a free kick in the 75th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Errecaborda AFC's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmond Verdun came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Saelices to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute of the match Clemente Silviano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Felix Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Montenegro couldn't finish the play. Errecaborda AFC made a substitution. Felipe Bitxintxo replaced Aírton Urbano. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmond Verdun having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montes got a free kick in the 94th minute. Julio Vera was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Clemente Silviano. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
