The score was now 1-0. Ramon Lonzo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. 11 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alptuğ Boğataş. In the 15th minute, Nusrettin Rafet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Ramon Lonzo sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Ali Orhan Tuncer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Illescas went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. 24 minutes into the game, Doğa Baycan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MAVİ İSTANBUL FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. A collision led to MAVİ İSTANBUL FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Doğa Baycan hit a great ball. In the 26th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Orhan Tuncer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alptuğ Boğataş in the 29th minute of play. Alptuğ Boğataş's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. MAVİ İSTANBUL FC's Ali Orhan Tuncer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. MAVİ İSTANBUL FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Salvador Gisbert in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ali Orhan Tuncer saved MAVİ İSTANBUL FC from getting behind. Alex Chicote's late challenge caught a MAVİ İSTANBUL FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alex Chicote helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of MAVİ İSTANBUL FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gökalp Hızlan hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The audience held their breath when Tomas Illescas in the 48th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Ali Orhan Tuncer's left hand side. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alptuğ Boğataş to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 55 minutes, Nusrettin Rafet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MAVİ İSTANBUL FC and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, MAVİ İSTANBUL FC's Nusrettin Rafet got a free kick in the 55th minute. 59 minutes into the game, Salvador Gisbert threw the ball into play from the sideline. MAVİ İSTANBUL FC's Gökalp Hızlan quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Rigoberto Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ali Orhan Tuncer having to make a save. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alptuğ Boğataş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alptuğ Boğataş, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Lonzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the match, Ramon Lonzo notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bektaş Ali Tunay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. MAVİ İSTANBUL FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
