When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Wu Qi took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Lautaro Navarro to make any attempt to save it. Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wu Qi in the 8th minute. Lautaro Navarro was a little too slow when Wu Qi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 2-0. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Wu Qi put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Lautaro Navarro. In the 20th minute, Wu Qi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lautaro Navarro. The goal made the score 4-0. If Wu Qi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 23 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wu Qi. In the 27th minute Esbjörn Hultstrand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Wu Qi came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Allan Bivall struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Allan Bivall made a great header on Samurai's corner, it was just that Honduras's Lautaro Navarro managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 41st match minute, Samurai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timmy Henriksson to maneuver through the defense. Wu Qi didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 5-0 via right post in the game's 46th minute. Samurai's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Wu Qi scored 7-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lautaro Navarro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Samurai's Åke Hamnberg was substituted for Hernán Grana. 66 minutes into the game, Samurai's Wu Qi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Timmy Henriksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timmy Henriksson in the 72nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wu Qi in the 78th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samurai's Vince Di Cola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 80th minute of play. In the 88th minute of the match Samurai got a corner. Honduras's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. After a rather tough play, Samurai's Hermengildo Huly got a free kick in the 96th minute. There was no doubt that Samurai were the better team. Samurai's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
