Francisco Seco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mingo Camporredondo having to make a save. Mingo Camporredondo made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Maximiliano Escribano sent off a good shot on target. Mingo Camporredondo was a little too slow when Maximiliano Escribano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 2-0. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gabirel Chapital went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Res Non Verba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabirel Chapital didn't get a good kick on the ball. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabirel Chapital in the 39th minute of play. Mingo Camporredondo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Gisbert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gabirel Chapital to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabirel Chapital got free with Joaquin Gayoso in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso got control of the ball when Gabirel Chapital tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jaime Cazalla made a great header on Uruguay's corner, it was just that Res Non Verba's Mingo Camporredondo managed to reach the ball for a save. A hard and well directed shot from Jaime Cazalla led 90 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Res Non Verba's Mingo Camporredondo became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 3-6. Gabirel Chapital sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gabirel Chapital could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Joaquin Gayoso made a huge save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Res Non Verba walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
