Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jared Straub made the kick off which started today's match. Ämmer Sportfreaks's Hardy Oester played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 3rd minute of play. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hardy Oester having to make a save. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jared Straub's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hardy Oester prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jared Straub who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Hardy Oester tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Sancho scored 0-2 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hardy Oester, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hardy Oester. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ämmer Sportfreaks's goalkeeper Hardy Oester, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 55 minutes into the match, Ämmer Sportfreaks's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Hardy Oester reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute Jared Straub shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Ämmer Sportfreaks's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Hardy Oester reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hardy Oester made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 63rd minute. Hardy Oester took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hardy Oester showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hardy Oester having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Ecuador's Luis Andino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Ämmer Sportfreaks's Hardy Oester proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Ämmer Sportfreaks from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Ämmer Sportfreaks's Stephan Ziegerer got a free kick in the 81st minute. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jared Straub in the 87th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Ämmer Sportfreaks's goalkeeper Hardy Oester had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. In the 92nd minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hardy Oester was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 94th minute of the match Klaus Fossati shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 95th match minute, Ämmer Sportfreaks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hercules Wenzel to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 96 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ämmer Sportfreaks throughout the match.
