Shi Li ran back to his position shaking his head. Jax Williamson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shi Li in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 8th minute Koby Wright shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Irinel Mirciu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antoni Dembkowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jax Williamson having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Koby Wright in the 16th minute of play forced Galati Harbour Cats's goalkeeper Irinel Mirciu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute of the game Richard Mccarthy made a throw-in which Koby Wright played forward. Galati Harbour Cats's Irinel Mirciu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Galati Harbour Cats from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Rohan Watson took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Irinel Mirciu to make any attempt to save it. In the 33rdth minute of the game Shi Li who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Canada's Jax Williamson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Koby Wright sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Irinel Mirciu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luka Harris in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When Canada's Rohan Watson in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Galati Harbour Cats's goalie prevented a goal. In the 54th minute Koby Wright shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Irinel Mirciu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Irinel Mirciu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Koby Wright's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Shi Li scored 1-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jax Williamson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Irinel Mirciu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carter George in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theo Burton in the 69th minute of play forced Galati Harbour Cats's goalkeeper Irinel Mirciu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shi Li sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jax Williamson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shi Li in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Petruț Iliuță hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Galati Harbour Cats made a substitution. Ianis Man replaced Shi Li. In the 75th match minute, Galati Harbour Cats was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petruț Iliuță to maneuver through the defense. Irinel Mirciu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theo Burton, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 83rd minute of the match Canada got a corner. Galati Harbour Cats's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jan Dixon ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of Canada booed when Galati Harbour Cats was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gheorghe Ducu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Irinel Mirciu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filip Edwards, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Galati Harbour Cats succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Canada had controlled the match.
