After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Moises Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nilton Marinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When William de Alcântara fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Brasil F.C.'s protests and gave William de Alcântara a yellow card for diving instead. William de Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Gabriel Mendes in the 44th minute of play.

When the match was over Honduras could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Real Brasil F.C. throughout the match.
