Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Homero Thomson in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Nores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Homero Thomson in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Nores saved Paraguay from getting behind. In the 15th minute, Jose Sanz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hector Covarrubias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edinho Lira having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, TZILACATZIN's Daniel Cabrera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacobo Nores narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Paraguay's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Victoriano Distiratsu was slow to take the kick. During this time TZILACATZIN's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Victoriano Distiratsu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Paraguay's Jacobo Nores did a great save. In the 22nd match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavier Zoido to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 23 minutes, Victoriano Distiratsu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TZILACATZIN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victoriano Distiratsu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jaime Pardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edinho Lira having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Jaime Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paraguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Pardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edinho Lira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Cabrera in the 29th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Homero Thomson in the 30th minute of the match. TZILACATZIN's Albino Calisto was substituted for Gaspar Matro. Gaspar Matro kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Cabrera, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 37 minutes into the match, TZILACATZIN's Daniel Cabrera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacobo Nores narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 45thth minute of the game Daniel Cabrera who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paraguay's Jacobo Nores was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal in the 49th minute to try and stop a shot by TZILACATZIN's Daniel Cabrera. But to his dismay, Daniel Cabrera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jaime Pardo to make the kick off. After 55 played minutes Daniel Cabrera could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 0-5 into the left cross. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Alan Campos hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute of the match Victoriano Distiratsu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jacobo Nores showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Diego Tenorio during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 63rd match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Diego Tenorio to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of TZILACATZIN booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Diego Tenorio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacobo Nores made an important save on a dangerous shot by Homero Thomson in the 67th minute. TZILACATZIN's Daniel Cabrera got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 80 played minutes TZILACATZIN got a freekick which was hit by Albino Calisto. Jacobo Nores was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Cabrera showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 83 minute of play. With splendid footwork Daniel Cabrera arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-8 by the left pole in the game's 86th minute. Daniel Cabrera struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Jacobo Nores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TZILACATZIN. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by TZILACATZIN's Daniel Cabrera. But to his dismay, Daniel Cabrera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. The TZILACATZIN players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
