The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Montenegro got free with Thom Threepwood in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 26 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Cayo Mario came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Axel Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thom Threepwood having to make a save. Thom Threepwood made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Montenegro in the 30th minute. In the 44th minute, Cayo Mario got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cayo Mario was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thom Threepwood saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Radiohead Freaks Club's Roger Bålström quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Joshua Garrido, made in the 57th minute of the game. Cayo Mario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayo Mario in the 58th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the game, Cayo Mario cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cayo Mario took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. After having played for 66 minutes, Cayo Mario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Radiohead Freaks Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cayo Mario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Cayo Mario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayo Mario in the 69th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Beti Roman took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Pedro Manzanares to make any attempt to save it. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cayo Mario, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Cayo Mario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Cayo Mario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thom Threepwood showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Mastache, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute.
