When Julian Murillo came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Murillo couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Peru booed when Glintung FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuriana Siahaan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lev Buffon came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Lev Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amran Karisma in the 27th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bandit Idaman in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Julian Murillo made a precise shot to the right of Lev Buffon. Glintung FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Malam Senin's late challenge caught a Peru's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Malam Senin helped the player get up and apologised. Lev Buffon had in the 35thth minute some difficulties stopping Luz Tejedor's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Lev Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Mina in the 37th minute of the match. After 39 minutes Glintung FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. Eliseo Mina struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Lev Buffon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bandit Idaman to strike the kick off in the second half. A throw-in in the 54th minute of the game was made by Chi Liège with Bandit Cinta as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Lev Buffon made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. Amran Karisma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Chi Liège in the 63 minute of the game. Malam Senin made in the 65th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Amran Karisma. The supporters of Peru booed when Glintung FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amran Karisma didn't get a good kick on the ball. Glintung FC made a substitution. I Gde Bacot replaced Chi Liège. Glintung FC's Lev Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 80th minute of play. Glintung FC's Chiazagomekpele Phoowacharoonkun was substituted for Giles Janda. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. The audience was convinced that Antonio Tenorio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lev Buffon was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Peru's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
