Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rick Theisens kicked off to start the match. A sloppy throw-in by Ate van de Meerakker in the 8th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert. Gijs ter Averst made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Seco in the 25th minute. When Camilo Franco came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Uruguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camilo Franco couldn't finish the play. Egbert Robbermond kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gijs ter Averst narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gijs ter Averst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Cazalla in the 35th minute of play. With a little luck, Revenge's Gijs ter Averst got control of the ball when Maximiliano Escribano tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 37 minutes Revenge's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jaime Cazalla who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Revenge's goalie and right to Bruno Beldad. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Revenge's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. A collision led to Revenge getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Tomas Vondel hit a great ball. The Uruguay fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when Uruguay's Francisco Seco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Francisco Seco didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-0 via right post in the game's 47th minute. Uruguay's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement!
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Seco to make the kick off. Gerjan Scheerhoorn's shot from long distance in the 52nd minute was not bad at all, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. In the 53rd minute, Maximiliano Escribano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximiliano Escribano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Uruguay fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when Uruguay's Francisco Seco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco Seco in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gijs ter Averst prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Camilo Franco struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Gijs ter Averst didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. After 64 played minutes Revenge got a freekick which was hit by Tim Daelemans. Gijs ter Averst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 70 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Escribano. Gijs ter Averst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 75th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Camilo Franco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uruguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Camilo Franco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gijs ter Averst breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano suffered a concussion after 95 minutes and had to leave the field. After 95 minutes, Marco Arts mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Revenge and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. Uruguay's Mateo Garrido was substituted for Maximiliano Escribano. Jaime Cazalla struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Gijs ter Averst didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. There was no doubt that Uruguay were the better team. Uruguay's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
