Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Illescas kicked off to start the match. Gijs ter Averst showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 8th minute of the match. After 8 played minutes Revenge got a freekick which was hit by Ate van de Meerakker. In the 13th minute Serge Spiljard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Revenge getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Egbert Robbermond hit a great ball. The throw-in from Cees Masker in the 22nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Alex Chicote. After a defensive mix-up in Revenge's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gijs ter Averst came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Serge Spiljard fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Revenge's protests and gave Serge Spiljard a yellow card for diving instead. Serge Spiljard kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. With a little luck, Revenge's Gijs ter Averst got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joshua Secada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Revenge's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Patricio Costa 43 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Rick Theisens made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 55th minute of play forced Revenge's goalkeeper Gijs ter Averst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gijs ter Averst came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Tomas Illescas. But to his dismay, Tomas Illescas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 62nd minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 65th minute of play forced Revenge's goalkeeper Gijs ter Averst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gijs ter Averst breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 69 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Joshua Secada nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gijs ter Averst made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Gijs ter Averst tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gijs ter Averst stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Joshua Secada missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 92 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Gijs ter Averst right hand side.
