Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luiz Leo started the match with the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Leo in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. Canarinho Atordoado's Teodoro Jacinto got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 7 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Leo. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Peter Mpenza was slow to take the kick. During this time Canarinho Atordoado's players had a chance to rest. In the 10th minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teodoro Jacinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Luiz Leo sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Luiz Leo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luiz Leo really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Leo in the 19th minute of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. 23 minutes into the match, Luiz Leo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 4-0. In the 28th minute, Luiz Leo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Canarinho Atordoado fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. After a rather tough play, Canarinho Atordoado's Lino Mota got a free kick in the 31st minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Luiz Leo sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Leo in the 37th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Canarinho Atordoado's Luiz Leo got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 41st minute, Canarinho Atordoado's Luiz Leo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-0. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Dé Mello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tuncer İlbaşı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Tuncer İlbaşı might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tuncer İlbaşı ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tuncer İlbaşı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Canarinho Atordoado fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Canarinho Atordoado's Teodoro Jacinto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Peter Mpenza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Luiz Leo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Mpenza in the 71st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peter Mpenza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Peter Mpenza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Márcio Seabra in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Peter Mpenza was slow to take the kick. During this time Canarinho Atordoado's players had a chance to rest. Peter Mpenza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Peter Mpenza came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Canarinho Atordoado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peter Mpenza couldn't finish the play. Rigoberto Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Peter Mpenza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canarinho Atordoado's supporters rose to their feet, but Peter Mpenza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There was no doubt that Canarinho Atordoado were the better team. Canarinho Atordoado's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
