In the 24th minute, Canada's Rohan Watson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Aldo Zumiel managed to get in a good position for a shot. ..Villa Rugby Club..'s supporters rose to their feet, but Aldo Zumiel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jax Williamson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jax Williamson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikolaj Giertych in the 36th minute of play. Carter George fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kang Ying Hai having to interfere. Mikolaj Giertych sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 41st minute Mikolaj Giertych shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jax Williamson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, ..Villa Rugby Club..'s goal looked a bit too open when Koby Wright came free, but Kang Ying Hai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kang Ying Hai stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Koby Wright's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Koby Wright to make the kick off. Kang Ying Hai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Koby Wright in the 50th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Mikolaj Giertych's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jax Williamson was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. If Koby Wright had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Saúl Menem in the 72nd minute of play forced Canada's goalkeeper Jax Williamson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kang Ying Hai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filip Edwards, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Theo Burton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Kang Ying Hai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luka Harris's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kang Ying Hai read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, ..Villa Rugby Club..'s goal looked a bit too open when Theo Burton came free, but Kang Ying Hai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
