He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Peru reached it. Fhury FC's Tiago Rodrigues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 11th minute of play. Carlos Rodrigues hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiago Rodrigues saved Fhury FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Madureira in the 35th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nuno Madureiras short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Rolando Noboa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Valter Bentes kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. The supporters of Fhury FC booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthony Alvarado didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Peru were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nuno Madureira made a kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Tiago Rodrigues successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 54 minutes, Ivan Rodrigues mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fhury FC and the Peru players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th minute, Ivan Rodrigues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 55 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tiago Rodrigues narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
