Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Fernando Pinhal scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 1-0. Melchor Inautzi took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Tabicker Pepin Club's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sten Virk came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Venezuela's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomas Illescas in the 27th minute. After taking down the ball on Venezuela's corner Tomas Illescas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sten Virk quite easily take care of the ball. In the 28th minute of the match Rigoberto Mina sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sten Virk skillfully saved the ball. In the 31st minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Tabicker Pepin Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zernin Serrano didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 47 in the game by Melchor Inautzi from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sten Virk having to interfere. After 55 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tabicker Pepin Club's goalkeeper Sten Virk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sten Virk having to make a save. Tabicker Pepin Club's David Baños was substituted for Fernando Serrano. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melchor Inautzi in the 72nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 74th minute of play forced Tabicker Pepin Club's goalkeeper Sten Virk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernando Pinhal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Camilo Gaos charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camilo Gaos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tabicker Pepin Club's Elixio Llinares was substituted for David Baños. The supporters of Tabicker Pepin Club booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 88 minutes, Melchor Inautzi made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melchor Inautzi in the 91st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 91st minute. After 92 played minutes, Tabicker Pepin Club's Perrando Hidalgo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tabicker Pepin Club reached it.
